Better than sex pumpkin cake

On our anniversary I had to go to a meeting for a (ridiculous) fundraiser at Lyla's school so we went out to dinner last weekend but I still wanted to make a yummy cake for our dessert. I went to my Pinterest dessert board and found the recipe for this really really good cake!  It's soooo good! You must go try it. It's super easy to make too. And of course I had my little helper! 

I have so many desserts pinned that I want to try and fall/winter is such a good time for baking! Pretty sure it's not going to help me lose any weight though!

Rainy Day Fun

Lyla is in school Monday, Wednesday and Fridays so on Tuesday and Thursdays I try to do some kind of craft with Lyla.. I thought I'd include Buck this week to so I got out the finger paints! I don't think he liked it very much!

Pretty sure he was mad because it didn't taste good.

Yep, I'm "that" mom who saw this as a perfect photo op!

But Lyla on the other hand loved it!!!

Ignore the mess in the kitchen, I was making a cake that I'm going to write about later in the week.

Happy Anniversary to us!

2 years ago today I went to a little white church out in the country with some family and friends and said "I do!" to the man of my dreams. I honestly couldn't have found a better man to call my husband and a father to my daughter (and soon after, my son). Happy Anniversary Smoochie Pants!!
