I had so wished I could cloth diaper with Lyla but the start up can be a little expensive, I was naive, I didn't know much about it.. etc etc. But I am going to with this baby I have cooking.. I have already bought 2 covers. I know that I will do prefolds and if I can get some AIO's for a good price I may get a few of them too. I think I've done quite a bit of research but if anyone who read this has any tips or advice please feel free to comment!

Yay!! We CDing! Prefolds and covers are my favorite way to do it. SO easy and convenient and I think the least expensive way to go. We just use the plain 'ole Gerber birdseye diapers and Thirsties covers. I love it because if they just pee, you can reuse the covers over and over until you feel they need to be washed. I just alternate throughout the day so that they dry in between uses. If your covers are snug enough, there is NO need for pins or snappies. I never used the ones we bought. and folding them is way easier than it sounds. Anyways, I'm excited to hear you are braving it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today :)
i wish i would have cloth diapered my boys!! i read a lot of info on cloth diapering after Owen was almost 2.
ReplyDeleteI thought about it and then realized that all the laundry was to much. But if you find a service that might be beneficial and then if not, go for it anyway. I had a friend that did it with her 3rd child. It worked for her.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up! We used prefolds with my oldest and then moved onto the AIO's. I LOVE my AIO's because they are cute and a little less bulky, but I also loved my prefolds because they are SO easy to wash. The AIO's can become a pain in the you know what! Anyways, no advice... Just enjoy the experience, poop and all:)
