Get Your Drink On

I don't know about you but during the summer on nice days (in Oregon they're not always nice) I like to sit in my back yard in my comfy chair and drink a tasty drink. Sometimes virgin, sometimes not. Today I decided to share with you some of my favorites and some I'm planning to try!

Pineapple Lemonade I love pineapple and I love lemonade! Perfect combo!

This just sounds so tasty! And on the Smirnoff Facebook page they have a lot of recipes.

Luau Punch. You could probably add some rum or vodka and it'd be pretty good also!

Watermelon Lemonade. I love how many ways there is to jazz up regular old lemonade!

Do you have any favorite summer drinks? Or drinks you want to try??

So we decided to just do a hunt and brunch with my family then a hunt and go out to eat with hubby's side!

Let It Go

I'm loving all the covers and parodies of the Frozen songs but I think this is one I relate with the best!

Hope you enjoy this! Have a great weekend!

Swaps!

I really love to do swaps! I love "stalking" people on the internet and getting to know them and then going out shopping to find fun stuff for them! I recently participated in 2 swaps; the carabox exchange and the Diva Swap. My partner for the Diva Swap is super cool and even has purple hair!

So first I'll show off my Diva Swap stuff..

This is what I sent to Nikkii
Just some fun little goodies and stuff to pamper herself.

She really paid attention to the fact that I'm a mom of young kids and don't always get time to myself so she sent me a package full of yummy smelling stuff to pamper myself! And the best thing in the package? The dry shampoo! Because lord knows mom's don't always get to take showers long enough to wash the hair!

And for the Carabox the theme was "regional" so I tried to find stuff that was made in Portland or the Pacific Northwest..
I chose some cute postcards and an Oregon magnet, a chocolate bar that is made here, some Portland Bee Balm, a bbq sauce that is also made locally and some cute little wooden blocks that are actually made/sold here in my tiny town!

I have not received a package from the person who was supposed to send to me and don't think I will so I have nothing to share there..

I can't wait to get to know my Don't Cry Over Spilled Polish swap partner and get her some cute polishes!

Don't Cry Over Spilled Polish Exchange

Welcome to the second round of Don't Cry Over Spilled Polish nail swap. The first time Rebecca hosted this, it was a great hit and successful. Not to mention really fun! So back by popular demand, is another round of it. Since we are saying goodbye to the cooler weather {some of us said goodbye a long time ago while a lot of us are just now feeling some warmer temps}, what would be more of a perfect theme than:

I would like to introduce the ladies bringing you this swap. Myself along with two other lovely bloggers {and great friends of mine} are going to make this a fun exchange!

You can follow each of these lovely bloggers below by visiting their blogs:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the theme April Showers Bring May Flowers, you are able to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. With those April showers behind us, we can now celebrate the beautiful May flowers and enjoy nature's wonderful bright and pretty colors. And nail polish is no exception when taking inspiration for this season.

So here's how it will work {the famous ten rules}:

1. Sign up below using the form between May 4th - May 10th.
2.  On May 11th, everyone will be paired with someone & notified via email who their swap buddies are.
3. Get to know your partner. You will have until May 31st to mail out your package to them.
4. Packages should be $15.00 {before shipping}. You can choose to splurge more if you would like but to keep it reasonable, $15.00 seems fair. You can make it fun and include other small little gifts if you would like.
5. Please make sure you package your box so that the polishes are secure. We would hate to see anyone's break during shipping because then we will be crying over spilled polish!
6. This swap will be open to bloggers as well as non-bloggers. We ask that all non-bloggers be active on Instagram so that they can participate in sharing their packages as well with everyone
7. Right now the swap will only be available to those in the US and Canada. Please note on the form below all the info about swapping internationally.
8. All participates must be serious about the exchange. Please be sure if you sign up, you are willing to go through with your part.
9. On June 11th, there will be a link up to show off your polish posts. This way everyone can share all the fun things they got. Please make sure you link up your post if you are a blogger or share through Instagram.
10. Have fun with this! And don't forget to share. Spread the word throughout your social media sites. The more that participate, the more fun it will be. Grab the button if you would like as well and post it on your blog {or share on instagram}

May Chore Challenge

My super awesome bloggy/Instagram/Facebook friend (and maybe soon  we can get together since we only like like 45 minutes from each other) Brittanie is doing a daily chore challenge for the month of May. All you gotta do is take 15 minutes of your day and do a chore that isn't one of your normal chores, like cleaning the door knobs, outlets/light switches.. Little things that you can do quick. She'll be posting about it mostly on Instagram so come join us!

Happy Monday and hope you have a good week!
