MisterManPants Strap Covers (review)

Strap covers were provided by Misterman Pants, all thoughts and opinion on product are mine.

Owner, Operator and Creator
My super awesome friend Kate has started a business called MisterManPants!
She sells cloth diapers, nursing necklaces, amber necklaces, taggy blankets and baby carrier strap covers! And she makes the cutest things! She ships quickly too. She was recently looking for bloggers to do some reviews of her stuff and when I saw these camo straps covers I jumped all over it!

I wish I had these when Buck was first teething because any time I had him in the ergo he was always chewing and sucking on the straps! But now at this stage we use them for comfort and distraction. When he's sleeping in it he rests his head on it. When we're shopping and he needs distraction he plays with the tags on it. I could probably even clip a small toy to it.

We love our strap covers and I know you will too! I also love to support mom/small businesses. Right now Kate is offering a 10% discount to my readers, just use the code "feelthatfire" So go check it out!!

Happy Friday! Hope you all have a great weekend!

What They Wore- Valentine's Edition

I love for my kids to have shirts representing the holidays and couldn't find any cute ones so I decided to make them! I also made a matching one for my best friends daughter.. I bought plain white shirts, felt and cross stitching thread and used a cross stitching needle to sew on some hearts that I cut out of the felt! They both loved their shirts! Now I'm thinking about cutting the hearts off and sewing on 4 leaf clovers!!

What They Wore Wednesday

The outfit Lyla is wearing is another one of her own "fashions" as she says. Crazy that like a week and a half ago they were able to be outside without jackets and then now we have snow. Oregon's weather is weird!

Skirt: The Children's Place

I love doing these posts and checking out what other cuties are wearing in their posts!

Meal Plan Monday- Week 2

I stayed on plan pretty well last week except that we didn't get out to my inlaws at all because we got snowed in!! So funny when I think of being snowed in, I think of like 5 feet of snow covering the door and your car being completely covered in snow but that's not how it was here. We got about a foot-ish of snow but a lot of freezing too so we were pretty much stuck. Here's my plan for this week:

Monday: shredded chicken sandwiches cooked in bbq sauce and root beer with fries

Tuesday: Waffles and bacon

Wednesday: Tacos

Thursday: Turkey, mashed potatoes and corn

Saturday: Probably pizza takeout for Valentines Day

Sunday: dinner with in laws

The chicken taco melts is a new recipe, are you trying any new recipes this week?

Meal Plan Monday

I have decided to start a Meal Planning series because I've been really trying to save money by meal planning and couponing. So far it's gone okay but I figure this is a good way to sort of keep myself accountable. Here's my first week!

Monday: Hamburger in gravy over mashed potatoes and corn
Tuesday: Ribs and salad
Wednesday: (Lyla's pick) Homemade pizza
Thursday: Crockpot chorizo chili and cornbread
Friday: (Adam's pick) Fish Sticks and Fries (I will have a chicken breast that day)
Saturday: Leftovers
Sundays we usually eat at the inlaws.

I've been scouring pinterest and other blogs for new recipes that the family may like! Any suggestions?
