Change

I'm not sure what happened but today I woke up totally wanting to be different. I want to be healthier. I want to be more active. I want to be able to go hiking and go swimming and have fun with my husband and my daughter this spring and summer. I want so much more out of life and being a stay at home mom. Being a stay at home mom shouldn't mean staying at home all the time. I'm also wondering if the weight I gained during my last very short lived pregnancy and dealing with the miscarriage is having an effect on getting pregnant again.

I had been trying to cut out soda but I have like no willpower but today I really made the decision that I *HAVE* to do it! So I bought a case of water instead. I'm really hoping I can do it. We've already started eating healthy, we do need to cut out some of our snacking. We bought a treadclimber a couple weeks ago and Adam has been doing it pretty much every other day. I missed a couple days but as of today I am going to do it every other day or more. I have to do this. I am going to do this.

  1. You can do it Jenn!!! :) I got a treadmill and I walk every day on it. I haven't had pop in over a ewek(I miss it like crazy) And I try to watch what I eat. If I want a snack, I eat whole grain cereal or something like that.. :) I have faith in you tho! :):)

  2. I'm so jealous because I've been wanting a treadmill for the longest time. I only have the exercise bike, which I hate. I'm not even sure the bike helps, but you can't go wrong with a treadmill. I really want one with a GREAT incline, but so far those are way too expensive for me.

  3. Oh! And speaking of cereal, you can't go wrong with "LIFE" brand. It has no high fructose corn syrup in it. (It took forever for me to find one without it. Even the "healthy" brands of cereal were false advertising. The same goes for yogurt; most have the HFCS as well).

  4. You can do this girl!! It is crazy just how many things can affect fertility. I'll be prayin' for your attempt at quitting soda! You could even try flavored water like propel to help transition your way into plain water. My husband and I trying to be healthier and it the self-discipline is so rewarding. :)

  5. You can do it! The best thing you can do is just not buy the stuff that you are tempted to eat and replace it with healthier stuff that you'll be forced to eat since, well, you gotta eat something!

This is easier said than done, but you can do it! So can I... maybe! lol

  6. You can do it! It is crazy how many things can effect fertility. Weight, stress, and medicine. Hormone levels during pregnancy is a big one. Have they checked your progesterone levels?

  7. Part of my resolutions for this year is to fall in love with the healthy life - meaning learn to love the idea of eating and feeling healthy. I think if I can adjust my perspective to actually like eating healthy and feeling healthy then it can be an easier adjustment. Good luck!
