AAAHHH!

I've been neglecting my blogging!! I'm horrible. Cause I know you all care oh so much. I've also been neglecting my cooking creativity. I honestly can't even really remember what we ate for dinner all last week except the Papa Murphy's that isn't really on our diet. I really need to make the bagels that my friend Mary gave me the recipe for.. And the bread that I've wanted to make for months that my friend Christina gave me the recipe for. And other homemade, healthy non/low sugar things!

But anyway.. Cookie is fitting into our family great. She's a major snorer but other than that she's pretty great. Dozer has been kinda acting out but I'm sure that'll stop soon. One of our giant goldfish is missing an eye and we're not sure how it happened. Lyla counted to 8 all by herself!! And she's quite funny lately. Adam.. Well he works a lot but had a 3 day weekend which was really nice. We didn't do much but it was still nice. We did get the Blazer ready to sell and parked it in the street so I can park the Jeep in the driveway now! Woohoo!! And we went to a BBQ at his sisters house with the family, that's always a good time!


Hmm.. I think that's all for now! I'm going to go make lasagna!

Lyla: Mommy, what's wrong?

Lyla: No! I said what!

I heard her huff/growl like she was mad so I asked what's wrong..
The response I got "This damn sock!!"

While eating Top Ramen when we were sick:
"Mommy! These noodles are soooooooo good!!"

Mommy!! I'm stinky in da butt!

I know there's more but can't remember them.. I need to write them down so I don't forget.

My desk finally..

So Adam bought me a desk for Mother's day.. It's beautiful and it fits and looks nice in our house. And it's so nice to have a place to put my computer/printer and all that jazz.. I still need to decorate it but here it is..

I haven't blogged much in the last week because I was on my death bed for a few times, but look, I'm recovering woohoo! And Adam and I are working on a secret project that I will reveal this weekend. But I'm very excited about it and we're having a lot of fun!

Friday Fives!

Today I'm going to share 5 of my favorite photos.

Seven

First off I wanna say... If you're in the middle of a convo on any kind of chat it is rude to get offline.It is like hanging up the phone without saying goodbye. So yeah! Don't do it again.

Next, why the heck does my cursor not go down when I hit the enter button on here? It's driving me nuts!

Third, I really need a desk! Our counter looks to cluttered! And I really need to sit in a chair with a back on it.

Fourth! Adam has told me for a month that he will get me 4 D batteries from work so I can use the elliptical machine! Do I have batteries yet? No I do not!! I better have them by Saturday!

Fifth. This stabbing pain in my brain needs to go away. It's been 3 days now, please stop.

Sixth. This post is totally just a rambling vent but it's my blog and I can write what I want!

Seventh. Where the heck did all Lyla's socks go?? I know half of them don't fit her and/or don't have matches but the whole basket of socks is empty! Guess I need to do laundry and buy her some new ones. But if she doesn't stop changing her clothes 6 times a day I'm teaching her how to do her own laundry!

Umm.. I think that is all.

Thanksgiving in May

Tonight we are *fingers crossed* having a sorta Thanksgiving dinner. My mom gave me a ginormous (ginormous is really a word?) 24lb turkey yesterday and I let it sit in my sink all night to unthaw and started cooking it a couple hours ago after running into many problems, the neck may or may not be inside it (the inside cavity was a tad frozen still and I couldn't feel anything to pull out) I tried to put it into a turkey bag but doing it myself didn't work, it was so heavy it just ripped through the other side! And of course I couldn't find my turkey baster! I'm thinking Lyla hid it somewhere, thank god for cooking syringes! Now I must go watch the rest of episode 32 of Friday Night Lights on Netflix on my new Roku before Adam gets home.
