Yummy in my Tummy!

This meal is something my mom has made for years and I'm not exactly sure where she learned it but I love it and it's now one of my favorite meals to make.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Meatball Ingredients:
I used about 2.5lbs of ground beef
1 egg
4 smashed up ritz crackers (you could use bread crumbs also)
1tbsp worcestshire sauce
1tbsp soy sauce
season salt
garlic powder
onion powder
pepper

Sweet and Sour Ingredients:
I just bought 2 10oz (i think) bottles of the store brand sauce
1 large can Dole pineapple tidbits

Mix all sauces, seasonings, crackers and egg into the ground beef. I just use my hands to mix it and squish it up.

Roll them into about 1" balls and cook. A few of my friends mentioned that they bake their meatballs so you might want to try that also, definitely sounds easier.

Dump the sauces into a sauce pan, drain pineapple and add them. And as the meatballs are done add them.
Since the meatballs are fully cooked you only really need to cook it until the sauce is at your desired temp.

I chose to put it over rice so I cooked up some minute rice.
Enjoy!

I believe..

My sweet bloggy friend Kera over at Nugget on a Budget did a post about what she believes in for a link up with Living in Yellow. I loved Kera's post so I thought I'd join in!

So, what do I believe?

I believe that rain is a cleansing for the soul.

I believe in sitting in front of a warm fire on cold night.

I believe in making sugary treats with your little ones. In their tutus.

I believe in adding caramel to any coffee drink. Pumpkin Spice Lattes with Caramel!

I believe in pajamas and a warm blanket on cold days.

I believe in comfy socks, even if they don't match.

I believe that holidays are meant to be spent with family.

I believe that everyone should have a pet.

I believe in loving your children with every ounce of your being.

I believe in margaritas with mexican food.

I believe in cuddly naps with your babies when you're not feeling good.

I believe your husband should be your best friend.

I believe in nail polish. Period.

I believe in supporting other in what they love.

I believe in believing. What do you believe?

In my kitchen- I pinned it, I made it.

First! People! Check out my new header! Isn't it freakin amazing?? Yeah I thought so.. I almost cried when I got it in an email. I had been talking to Annabelle The Carolina Country Girl about wanting to spruce up my blog a little and she explained to me how to fix it but silly me couldn't figure it out and she sent me this!! Ahh I was excited!

I  "discovered" a new recipe.. Thank you Pinterest! This recipe is soooo easy and so yummy. I changed it up a bit.

Muffin Tin Twice Baked Potatoes

4 large potatoes (or whatever your family usually eats)
1 cup shredded cheese
2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup bacon bits
1 muffin tin

1. I "baked" the potatoes in the microwave and then let them sit for about 10 minutes so they weren't to hot to handle.

2. Preheat oven to 350

3. Either peel the skins off the potatoes or scrape out the insides into a bowl.

4. Mix the butter, bacon bits and most of the cheese in the bowl with the potato.

5. Grease muffin tin and spoon the mixture into the tin.

6. Top with cheese.

7. Bake til cheese is melted/crispy.

8. Enjoy!

My baby shower (Only a few weeks later!)

We wanted to do a monkey theme but couldn't find much monkey decorations that we didn't have to order and weren't a ridiculous price!

(Blurred to hide my address)
My aunt made this super cute diaper cake! I'm hoping to cloth diaper but I might need these diapers for some reason. It had some bibs, socks, onesies, little lotions and some baby toys.

My mother in law made these! They're little diapers with trail mix in them. So cute!

Cupcake cake to look like the invitation.

I really didn't look that great! I couldn't find any dresses or outfits that I liked or that looked good on me.

Decorating onesies

Lyla and her little (2nd) cousins Malia and Kendall

Lyla helping with presents. (Some people were even sweet enough to bring her presents)

A sweet crocheted (knitted?) hooded blanket that Adam's aunt made

 Cuuuuute carhartt overalls!

I didn't get as many pics as I would've liked but it was a great day with some wonderful, thoughtful friends and family.

Oh yes!!

So since I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy doing normal every day things are getting tough and at the end of the day all I want to do is lay in bed and watch tv or sleep.. So I'm pretty excited for some shows to be coming back on and some new shows. Here's my list!

I'm sure there is more because almost all of those are just on the local channels (non cable). Do you have any favorite returning shows? Or ones that are new but look good?
